Examination Committee

It is the responsibility of the Examination Committee headed by a convener to efficiently conduct the Internal Assessment and College Examinations.

Role of the Examination Committee

In the case of internal exams, it is the duty of the committee members to take care of the pre-examination arrangements, call for question papers in the prescribed format, print question papers, make arrangement for the exam rooms, maintain invigilation diary, room allotment,  enable the distribution of question papers and ensure that the examinations are conducted in smooth and effective manner with zero tolerance for malpractice of any kind. After the completion of the exam, the committee also ensures the distribution of collected answer bundles to the respective subject faculty.

The Convener also ensures that within ten days from the completion of the internal examinations, the valued answer scripts are returned to the students, the marks are entered in the IA marks sheets and portal. The hard copy of the marks statement is submitted to the exam office.

Student grievances related to examination, if any, are also addressed, and the student can directly approach the Convener or write to the exam cell e-mail id.

University of Mysore Examinations

At the end semester  for the university examination, the exam committee works to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination based on the time table. In accordance with the University of Mysore time table the process involves receiving question papers from the University Officer, allotting invigilation duty, distribution of question paper and answer booklets to the room invigilators, and at the end of exams answer bundles are collected, packed and sent to the university.
